I’ll be honest. Sometimes I like conversations through writing more than talking. I’m serious. When Blake and I aren’t on the same page, sometimes I’ll write him a letter because I can explain myself better that way (and with more grace). So this route works for me.
What we have to remember is that even in writing, our voice represents our hearts. So if it isn’t something you would say to someone’s face (maybe picture Jesus as your audience, just to be sure)– if you don’t feel like it represents your soul well– then maybe don’t write it. You can be honest and still be love.
So here’s to conversations of honesty and love. What’s on your mind?
