Nothing makes me happy like Christmas music. It’s why if I’m having a tough day in July, I’ll listen to a little Frank, Dean, or Bing & be right as rain.

Blake took the kids out last Saturday morning so I could decorate for Christmas. I blared my music on my little speaker the whole time, & when they came home, I realized how much more energy I felt than when they left (obviously this had NOTHING to do with me needing a break from my kids because if you love your kids you should never need a break from them not ever).

If you have Spotify, you can follow my Christmas playlist, “Christmas Favorites” under jswinegeart. I have pretty high Christmas music standards & unless you’re looking for Justin Bieber & Christina Aguilera, I think you’ll be pleased.

Here’s a little sampling of the playlist:

White Christmas – Bing Crosby

Baby It’s Cold Outisde – Idina Menzel & Michael Buble (This is the cutest music video ever, & you must stop what you’re doing & watch this now.)

Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree – Brenda Lee

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year – Andy Williams

Underneath the Tree – Kelly Clarkson

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas – Perry Como

Believe – Josh Groban

Have Yourself a Merry little Christmas – Judy Garland

Let it Snow – Frank Sinatra

O Come All Ye Faithful – Johnnyswim

O Holy Night – Josh Groban

Happy Listening!

PS Music enjoyment amplified if accompanied by a mug of hot chocolate or apple cider.

Christmas music is my jam year-round so I love it when it’s culturally acceptable– ha!
